Our Automotive Technician program features a large laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment for practical, hands-on experience. Students learn the use of conventional tools, as well as the new computerized engine analyzers. A certificate in automotive technician is available to those students who complete the first year of the program. The certificate provides a clear pathway for students who want to pursue an associate degree in Automotive Service.
The Automotive Service Technology and the Diesel Truck Systems Programs are fully accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). The primary mission of NATEF is to improve the quality of automotive technician training programs nationwide through voluntary accreditation. NATEF is responsible for the program evaluation process and approves programs for NATEF Accreditation based on the results of the on-site evaluation.
