Online Degree Programs
Washington State offers four online associate degree programs and two certificate programs. In our virtual classrooms, you'll have all the support you need to succeed, including dedicated academic advisors and experienced instructors who bring relevant and engaging insight to ensure you get the most value from your education.
Our Online Programs
The desirability of a business degree lies in its versatility. As a graduate from the program, you can expect to find employment in Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and Advertising. Forecasts, such as those found on OhioMeansJobs.com, indicate there are strong opportunities for gainful employment opportunities in the Mid-Ohio Valley region for these types of positions, both now and in the future.
Our 32-credit hour program consists of courses covering basic mechanical systems, fundamental safety, health and environmental issues, basic math and science, workplace communications, and the computer and Internet skills necessary for online learning.
In addition to having a broad understanding of chemical processes, the chemical operator of today must possess advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes, and have a solid background in math, science, and computer skills.
Health Information Management Technology (HIMT) is a five-semester, fully online program* with credentials built into the curriculum that you'll earn along the way. This valuable credential will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment while you continue your education and makes you eligible to sit for various external medical coding and/or medical billing certification exams.
The Medical Billing and Coding Certificate program at WSCO is just three-semesters and fully online. With credentials built into the curriculum, you will be equipped you with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment. The curriculum is designed for a seamless transition to those who want to build on their knowledge and earn an associate degree in Health Information Management Technology.
A career in Medical Laboratory Technology lets you make a positive impact on patients’ lives while working primarily behind the scenes. You can now pursue an associate degree in this in-demand career with WSCO’s completely online program. Learn from the best. Our board certification pass rates surpasses the national average by more than 8-percentage points.
This online program offers a HyFlex curriculum. That means you have the option to log-in and join the class live or you can watch the lectures at a time that suits your schedule.
The Medical Laboratory Technology online program heavily relies on hands-on experience, so students are responsible for connecting with a hospital near them to complete their clinical hours. WSCO’s Online MLT program is an especially great option for someone who is currently employed in a hospital setting.
Our Process Technician program is designed with the needs of area manufacturing plants in mind. As a result, our graduates are in high demand. Your virtual classroom experience will include working with the machines and computerized machining equipment that you'll find in area manufacturing plants. You'll also learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply that information in a simple and logical manner.
