At Washington State, your education continues outside of the classroom with opportunities to interact with other students, faculty and staff in numerous campus activities. These activities are a terrific way to develop your soft skills - the perfect combination of leadership, communication, and time management skills. True, WSCO is a commuter campus (which means we don’t have on-campus housing). But don’t let the myths about community colleges fool you. Our students are actively engaged in both campus organizations and community service.
Activities on campus range from "hangin' out" with friends to organized events for the entire college community. Pool tables are available for student use, and many activities are held in the newly renovated Commons area, including coffee house events, corn hole tournaments, live entertainment, and much more. Our students also enjoy our annual WSCO Homecoming Week that includes the very popular community movie night, Halloween costume contest, and more!
