Do I need to have a parking pass to park on campus?
Nope. Washington State is a commuter campus so we want to make things as easy as possible when it comes to your transportation. No parking pass is needed but you do need to make sure that you park in the designated student parking lot, located in the upper parking lot near the library.
Where do I get my books?
You can order your books online by clicking here. If you wish to use your financial aid to purchase your books, you will need to purchase your books at the WSCO Bookstore. If you are not paying for books using financial aid, you can choose to use the WSCO Bookstore or purchase your books through another vendor. When purchasing a book, be sure to make sure that it is the correct ISBN number as the book indicated on your course syllabus.
How do I find the ISBN number for my books?
Simply visit the bookstore website and click ‘Textbooks’ and then ‘Find Textbooks’. You’ll be able to select your class and section number. From there, you’ll be able to view the required and recommended textbooks for your class, including the ISBN number. ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. It is a 13-digit number that's used as a unique identifier for books.
How do I find my academic advisor?
Your academic advisor is assigned to you based on the major you choose. All of our academic advisors are faculty members so you may even have your academic advisor as one of your instructors! Your advisor’s name is located on the upper right hand corner of your printed course schedule. You can also find an advisor directory online.
What happens during the winter in the event of inclement weather?
Good question. As a commuter campus, we monitor road conditions very carefully. Be sure to review our campus closure/delay procedure.
