Washington State offers two remote testing options for students who require assessment but are unable to come to campus or need greater flexibility for their busy schedules. If you would like to schedule a placement test on campus, email css@wscc.edu, call 740.568.1913, or text 740.224.0012.
We're now offering FREE online placement testing to make enrollment easier than ever. Test from the convenience of your home day or night.
To take your ACCUPLACER placement test online, you just need a government-issued ID and a computer that meets the technical specifications required for testing. To test your computer, go to https://www.accuplacer.org/ and click "Verify System Requirements". Able to take your test during the day? Sign up to take a proctored ACCUPLACER through our Center for Student Success Office. Call the Center for Student Success at 740.568.1913 for availability.
Want to take advantage of 24/7 online testing? Click the 'Let's Get Started' button below and select "I will be using Examity Online Proctoring for my ACCUPLACER Remote Placement Test."
This will enable you to take your ACCUPLACER test at an approved testing center located throughout the United States. Testing sites can include any accredited college/university that offers ACCUPLACER testing. The cost for this option will vary based on the chosen testing center. You may also choose from a location approved through the National College Testing Association (NCTA). Click here for a list of approved sites. If you are taking courses through your company, please check with the The Center for Student Success to see if your employer is an approved testing site.

Once you have decided which option is best for you, follow these simple steps to schedule your assessment.
Complete our remote testing request form. You should complete the form after you have been accepted to WSCO.
The Center for Student Success will contact you with a confirmation email that explains the next steps for completing your remote test.
Once you have completed your placement test, your scores will be posted to your student record and you will be contacted by WSCO to review your scores and schedule your courses.
