MARIETTA, OHIO (December 21, 2017) –Ray and Kim Blackburn, local Wendy’s franchise owners, recently donated $2,500 toward The Wendy’s Adoption Scholarship Endowment established with Washington State College of Ohio Foundation.
The Blackburns partnered with the WSCO Foundation in 2013 to establish the endowment that provides a scholarship for students who are adopted or have been part of the foster care system.
Proceeds of this donation were made possible by a contribution to Wendy’s from the Pioneer Antique Auto Club.
A check presentation was recently held at the College and on hand to receive the check were Anna Rittenhouse, Executive Director for the WSCO Foundation, Doug Terrell, Wendy’s Marketing Manager, and Dr. Vicky Wood, President of Washington State College of Ohio.
