MARIETTA, OHIO—Washington State College of Ohio’s (WSCO) Associate Professor of Cyber Security Dr. Adam Beatty just published his second book entitled CompTIA Security+ Reference Guide.
Beatty, who co-authored his first book just last year, Computer Service and Repair Lab Manual, said his newest publication will provide information and exercises regarding the new CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 Certification. Each domain is discussed and will prepare individuals who will test for the CompTIA Security+ Exam and those looking to enter into the cybersecurity sector or hone upon their skillset.
He extended his gratitude to his students who encouraged him while he wrote and said, “I hope they realize if I am able to contribute to the scholarly sector of the cybersecurity field then they are every bit as capable.”
Beatty said authoring a book was a goal since graduate school, and ultimately, after earning his doctorate, he worked toward that aspiration by reviewing and editing multiple books.
Both of Beatty’s books are published by Goodheart and Wilcox Publishing. CompTIA Security+ Reference Guide will be available this summer.
