The WSCO Honors Program will host An Evening of Poetry with Jennifer Militello and Kathy Fagan on Thurday, April 26, at 6 pm in the Community Room.
Jennifer Militello is the author of “A Camouflage of Specimens and Garments” and “Flinch of Song”. Publishers Weekly has called her work “positively bewitching. Her second publication “Body Thesaurus”, was named one of the top books of 2013 by Best American Poetry and was the runner-up for the Poetry Society of America’s Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award.
Militello teaches in the Masters of Fine Arts program at New England College.
Kathy Fagan’s fifth book “Sycamore”, was a finalist for the 2018 Kingsley Tufts and William Carlos Williams Poetry Prizes. Her first book was a National Poetry Series winner and her second collection won the Vassar Miller Prize. Her recent work has appeared in renowned publications, including The New York Times Sunday Magazine and The Nation.
Fagan directs the Masters of Fine Arts Program at Ohio State, where she also serves as Series Editor for the OSU Press/The Journal Wheeler Poetry Prize.
