MARIETTA, OH (March 7, 2019)– The Washington State College of Ohio Criminal Justice Club recently established a scholarship with the WSCO Foundation.
Members of the Club presented a check for $500 to WSCO President and Foundation Representative Dr. Vicky Wood. The funds will support an annual scholarship for a student seeking a degree in the field of criminal justice.
“I’m very proud of you,” Wood told the students who attended the check presentation. “It’s amazing that you work so hard for other students. You’re an excellent example of the community college spirit. Your efforts magnify the vision we have for Washington State.”
The perpetual scholarship is supported by club fundraisers, including its annual golf scramble.
Current and future students can apply for this scholarship as well as other institutional and Foundation scholarships using one application. The deadline for the 2019-2020 scholarship application is March 15, 2019. Visit www.wscc.edu/scholarships for more information.
