If you’re planning to start college this spring, but haven’t yet taken the first steps. Don’t worry, there’s still time. WSCO’s first day of classes is January 9, 2023.
Here are three steps to take right now to expedite the registration process.
- Fill out our application. You can do this online. It’s free and there’s no obligation.
- Request your transcripts. An official high school transcript should be sent directly from the high school/board of education to the WSCO Admissions Office by email (admissions@wscc.edu), fax (740-376-0257), or mail (WSCO Admissions, 710 Colegate Drive, Marietta, OH 45750). Homeschool students are also required to send in transcripts. Transcripts must be submitted to the Admissions Office by either fax, email or mail. Transcripts can also be hand-delivered so long as they are in a sealed envelope from the high school.
An official high school equivalency transcript (such as a GED) should be sent via www.DiplomaSender.com to admissions@wscc.edu.
Official college transcripts should be sent directly from the previous institution to the WSCO Records Office for evaluation to determine course transfer. - Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). At WSCO, many of our students are eligible for federal aid, so we encourage everyone to submit this important application. WSCO’s school code is 010453.
Once you’ve completed these steps, a member of our friendly admissions staff will contact you to set up an appointment to get you established as a student and registered for classes. But remember, at this point in the summer, time is of the essence. To ensure you have everything in place, you need to start the process right away.
